Goal
of the program is to educate physician-scientists
and highly qualified researchers in a field
of medical biology.

Program
is intended for students who have completed
their first line of study (medicine, biology,
biochemistry etc.), are not more than 30 years old
and have good knowledge of English.

Applicants
need to pass an evaluation exam.

Student
go through a 4-year program during which they
do research,listen to lectures and seminars,
give seminars themselves and prepare
their doctoral thesis.

Research programs

comprise following fields:

Neurosciences
(degenerative diseases of the central and peripheral
nervous system – experimental and clinical studies,
neuroprotection, homeostasis of the central nervous system),

Applied Physiology
(exercise tolerance, energy metabolism)

Kidney Physiology and Pathophysiology,
Neurophysiology of the Respiratory System,
Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology,
Transplantation and Immunology,
Pharmacology of Opioid Peptides.

Best students
have a chance to get a stipend.
